So how are things going to work? Well - it will be helpful to give you a broad picture of how things will be, once you sign up for a hosting package. We will host your website (or websites) for you on our servers, and there will be two main tools we provide for you to do specific things.

1. Control Panel (cPanel).

This tool lets you directly control most aspects of your website - appearance, email accounts - all the nuts and bolts of it. For direct control over these things, log into your cPanel (when you sign up for a hosting package we send you an email containing details on how to do this).

2. Self-Service Area

This tool is where you are now! Communicate with us and manage any aspect of your account with us here. This is the place for all support and account based matters. More functionality is available once you are registered with Jethost - registration normally occurs automatically as you purchase a package (although you can register without purchasing anything!).

So - now it's time for a test! Lessons 3 and onwards are only available for registered users - so now is the time to order your hosting package, or (if you already have one) to log in to your account and visit the Beginners Guide from within your own client area. Once you have done that, we can pick up at the next lesson.
